AFRICAN QUEENS AND KINGS COLLECTION

The African continent comprises 54-56 individual countries and their overlapping cultures and tribes. The traditions and histories can also vary greatly. In this Collection the highlight is placed on the women who made history, built nations, fought against invaders and kept the traditions alive. From ancient wives of Pharaohs, Kings and Chiefs, to women Pharaohs, Queen Mothers and Queen Sisters of very young Pharaohs, Kings and Chiefs; and to modern era women who were significant in the economics and politics of their nations are profiled here.  There are so many women who are left out of the histories of all nations. But through this Collection I hope to introduce impressions of these real women who once lived in our ancient past who have now moved into our present era consciousness. This era spanning the 19th through 21st centuries will feature women who have set the tone for our existence into the future. This Collection will embrace Africa and the Global Diaspora and give respect to the tools and processes of our ancestors who made the jewelry and body adornment for royalty. This collection is designed for women everywhere who have earned their power, influence and grace.
